Microsoft advertising has recently announced on its blog that very shortly its advertisers will be able to verify if their ads are running. Thanks to the updated ad preview tool which lets advertisers see if their ads are being shown generally or to targeted audiences. Microsoft advertising also said that this tool will also have special diagnostic feedback and targeting functions.
The launch is expected shortly. Advertisers can then choose the language, enter targeted terms, publisher domain, and location. The location could be country, region, or city specific. This tool will make it possible for advertisers to see if a particular location is being shown the ads. The diagnostic feedback will enable advertisers to know why the ads are not showing in a particular region or city and this could be due to poor target selection, payment issues, ad disapproval, or other account problems.
The best part of this that the Ad Preview tool will be accessible irrespective of whether advertisers are logged into adCenter or not. They will no longer have to call agencies to find out if their ad is being shown to targeted markets and viewers.
